In Takin’ a Break from Sex, Andy and Joleen Mullins have taken dating, marriage, friendship, and absurdities of relationships, along with some silliness and have crafted them into original comedic sketches. This married comedy couple invites you to sit back and enjoy their fun romp through scenes emphasizing that opposite sex perceptions are a myriad of crazy conversations and hilarious situations.  Rated R

Both are experienced actors and comics. Andy is well known in the Dallas/Fort Worth theatre community for his work in stage, film, television, and commercials. Joleen lived (and performed) in Los Angeles for 14 years before returning to Dallas. The two met while performing together in a comedy dinner theatre group. The sparks flew, and they married, thus gaining access to a wealth of new comedy sketch material.   Now back in Los Angeles!       

Their loveable style, flawless comic timing, and blend of physical comedy will keep audiences laughing long after they have left the stage.  They are a crowd pleaser right from the start.

I have never met such a hilariously funny and talented couple! Joleen and Andy are friends of mine and when they married, I could think of such a perfect match, you didn’t need to be psychic to see that they were a match made in heaven.  But for me when I spend time with them, it’s a laugh a minute with these two…I laugh so much my face hurts!  When they told me that they had plans to write a comedy sketch about marriage and midlife called Takin’ a Break from Sex, I had two thoughts: 1. I was fortunate to attend several of Joleen Tropp's stand up routine's while she was performing in Los Angeles. Her shows were hilarious and thought provoking. The venues were packed and it was apparent that I was not Joleens’ only fan. Ms. Tropp has a clever, insightful perspective into the human condition. The bottom line is that Ms. Tropp’s show was tons of fun. I am always eager to see her perform when she is in the Southern California area. I have recommended her show to many of my friends and they all raved about her. I even brought my mother and she loved her. To this day mom still asks when Joleen will be performing.
